Faro Airport Guide
Faro Airport is 6 kilometres from Faro and is easily accessible from either the A22 or the National Highway 125. There is no direct rail link to Faro Airport, but there is a train station in the city centre and you can easily catch one of the many buses to the airport or alternatively there are plenty of taxis available.
Positioned in a prime tourist area, Faro Airport receives thousands of visitors per year and is an aesthetically pleasing building. The delightfully colourful airport terminal fits perfectly into the climate and ambiance of the Algarve region.
It is equipped with all the services necessary for passenger comfort, making it one of the most important airports in the country.
Facilities at Faro Airport include ATM points, a bank, Bureau de Change, pharmacy, post office and travel agents. There are also plenty of shops and eateries at Faro Airport including a lovely little gem of a shop selling all things Portuguese ? both the typical and curious. Perfect for that last minute gift.
