Southampton Airport Guide
The airport is situated just outside Southampton city centre. It is on the interchange of the M3 and M27. Passengers should exit at junction 5 of the M27. Southampton Airport is also easily reached via the A34 from Oxford and Newbury. The motorways leading to the Southampton Airport clearly indicate the route to be taken.
Once at Southampton Airport you'll find that most of the airport is on one level, making it easy to navigate for wheelchair users and customers with reduced mobility. There is also a dedicated lift for passengers visiting the conference centre and viewing gallery. Induction loops are found in various locations around the terminal, where there are signs showing the 'sympathetic ear' symbol.
Payphones and credit card telephones are available in all parts of the airport and are adapted for hearing aids. There are also text payphones in the main concourse and the departures lounge.
There is also a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars at Southampton Airport, from Aura with Starbucks coffee, Delice de France pastries, licensed bar with snacks, 'Grab n Go' sandwiches, baguettes and paninis, and WHSmith with books, newspapers, magazines, snacks and drinks, cards and stationary.
