Sheffield City Airport is not a commercial airport, but does offer more than just private aviation. There are several airplane and helicopter training schools as well as Alpha Helicopters which cater for a number of things, including gift vouchers to let loved ones have a ?mini adventure' by trying their hand at flying an aeroplane or helicopter.

Sheffield City Airport is offers a dedicated Pilots Room available for all visiting pilots to use based on the first floor of the ATC Tower. The room is available to all visiting pilots free of charge and facilities will include Free Tea/Coffee, briefing facilities, toilets & TV.

A large training and conference room is available at the Airport for hire. The room can accommodate up to 30 people. OHP, white board and tv/video are available if required. Refreshments can be provided.
