Liverpool Airport Guide
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is conveniently located within the Merseyside road network and lies close to the M57, M62 and M56 motorways.
To get to Liverpool Airport from the North, use the M6 southbound to junction 21A with M62. Follow M62 West to junction 6 onto the A5300 to the A561 and follow signs to Liverpool Airport, which is situated off Speke Hall Avenue. From the South use the M6 northbound to junction 20 with M56. Follow M56 to junction 12 onto A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge to merge with A561. Follow signs to Liverpool Airport, situated off Speke Hall Avenue. Passengers travelling from Wirral may find it more convenient at peak times to use the M53 and then the M56 (as instructions from the South / East) rather than a route through the City Centre of Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnels.
Passengers travelling from North Wales to Liverpool Airport should join the A55 to connect with the M56 eastbound, and then follow instructions as from the East.
Liverpool Airport has a prayer room available for people of all faiths and is located in the public area of the terminal on the third floor next to the lifts. Liverpool John Lennon Airport's Chaplain, Nicky Lees, is at the Airport on a regular basis.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport has recently completed the installation of the latest Wi-Fi technology throughout the terminal building, provided by The Cloud. There are also a number of pay-as-you-go Internet kiosks located throughout the terminal.
Liverpool Airport provides you plenty of places to eat and drink, from Wetherspoons and Starbuck, to Burger King. There are also a variety of High Street Shops to peruse at your leisure.
