Birmingham Airport is 8 miles Southeast of Birmingham city centre on the A45 Birmingham - Coventry main route. If you are travelling from further a field, there is direct access from the M1, M5, M6, and M40 motorways. It is off junction 6 of the M42.
Birmingham Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 (main) and Terminal 2 (Eurobub). Both terminals have a Bureau De Change and numerous cash points.
Birmingham Airport's terminals also have designated smoking areas within the leisure areas. There are also a large number of UK outlets to wander about in including WHSmith, Boots and Thorntons.
The ground floor of Birmingham Airport's Terminal 1 has a permanent exhibition called 'The Aviation Experience'. It has interactive displays as well as a viewing area.
