Zurich Airport, also called Kloten Airport, is located in Kloten, canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Zurich Airport has excellent facililites, especially for families.

You will find a nursery and play area near the gates in each transit zone. Here, children can play to their hearts content while their parents sit back and take it easy. Zurich Airport playrooms contain all sorts of exciting toys and games, including cuddly stuffed animals, rocking horses, wooden games and puzzles, building sets, doll's prams, a wooden train set, and countless other items to keep children occupied while you wait for your flight. For parents travelling with babies, the facilities include tables for changing nappies, a kitchen-aid for warming up meals, highchairs, playpens etc. There is also a breast-feeding room, and this is equipped with cots so that you can let your baby have a sleep before you board the aircraft. At the nurseries you will also be able to receive baby food, fruit juices, feeding bottles, dummies, nappies etc. Also, if you have a long stop over or just feel tired, Zurich Airport has Day Rooms that can be rented for a reasonable price.

Then there is Zurich Airport's lounge on top of Dock E. Expect a perfect blend of relaxed atmosphere, breathtaking panorama and a first-class selection of culinary delights. Enjoy splendid wines, fruit juices and snacks. It also has a large terrace with views far into the mountains.

  • Great value for basic car hire at just over £200 for 2 weeks including snow chains. It is then a bit rough to get charged a quarter as much again, £50 to hire a ski rack for the two weeks. I could probably buy one for that price! Otherwise car was fine, new-ish, ready and signing up was all fine. Very helpful staff. #
