Alicante Airport is located 11km (7 miles) south of Alicante. From Alicante, take the Autovia Alicante-Murcia and leave at the airport junction; alternatively, take the national road N-340 to the airport. From Benidorm, take the Autopista A-7.
Facilities include bureaux de change, ATMs and a post office. At Alicante Airport there are bars and restaurants, a fast-food outlet, an ice cream parlour and a cafeteria. Eight cafés and four restaurants are located in the Costa Blanca Plaza, the airport shopping and entertainment centre. Shops at Alicante Airport include newsagents, tobacconists, gift and jewellery shops, a music store, cake shop, sports and shoe shops, CD and video store, and three duty-free shops. Other facilities at Alicante Airport are a 24-hour first aid service and a pharmacy. Conference and business facilities are not generally available at the Alicante Airport although there is a Ifach VIP Lounge on Departures level 1, offering phone, fax, photocopying and Internet access for business class passengers.
There is a designated area outside the terminal building for dropping off disabled passengers. There are also designated parking spaces for disabled passengers in the airport car park opposite the terminal building. The airport has lifts, ramps and disabled toilets; wheelchairs are available on request; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
