Krakow Airport ? full name Krakow's John Paul II International Airport ? is located 15 kilometres west from Krakow by the A4 Expressway to Silesia. Public transport to Krakow Airport consists of a bus service that operates every 20 ? 40 minutes between the airport and Krakow, and a shuttle train service links Krakow's John Paul II International Airport in Balice with the Krakow Glowny main rail station in the city centre. On average, trains run every thirty minutes between 4 a.m. and midnight.
Krakow Airport is Poland's second busiest airport after Warsaw, and handles 2.4 million passengers a year. As such, Krakow Airport has plenty of amenities for its travellers.
