Rotterdam Airport Guide
Rotterdam Airport is located just off Junction 11 of the A13. There is some public transport available, namely the RET Airport Shuttle, which departs on average every 10 minutes from Rotterdam Central Station and Rotterdam Airport. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes. For travelling on this bus, it is possible to use the national 'strippen' card as means of payment. These are available for purchase at the AKO Shop at Rotterdam Airport. An ordinary bus ticket can also be bought directly from the bus driver (€ 2.70).
Once at Rotterdam Airport there are a few shops ? including Duty Free ? and a fantastic restaurant with views of the runway via the Panorama Promenade.
There is a lovely peaceful lounge at Rotterdam Airport, which is accessible to all for 18 and a half Euros, or free of charge with a valid entry ticket. Here you can relax and watch the planes or surf the net. There are snacks provided as well as reading materials.
