Frankfurt Airport Guide
Getting to and from Frankfurt Airport is too simple to be true. Trains and buses go right up to Terminal 1 and if you are coming by car from the north or south, you just need to get on the A5 and head for 'Flughafen' (airport).
Coming from the east, you'll need the A3 and coming from the west you'll need the A66.
Frankfurt Airport is turning itself into an airport city (over 20 million square metres), with a market place, shops and restaurants, entertainment and recreation. There is also real estate on offer here ? perfect for the plane enthusiast. Frankfurt Airport even has its own song, Baby If We Try, We Can Ride Across The Sky, which you are sure to hear on your visit.
Since Frankfurt Airport is a 'city within a city', it does not lack for amenities. They cater very well for the less abled traveller as everything is pretty much wheelchair accessible.
Shops include the usual Duty Free and newsagents/tobacconists as well as clothes shops, perfumeries, sports shops and book shops. There is even an erotica shop at Frankfurt Airport.
Whatever your tastes in shopping or food, you will definitely find what you are looking for at Frankfurt Airport.
