Nice Airport - full name Nice Côte d'Azur Airport - is located 8 kilometres west of Nice town centre and just 13 kilometres from Cannes. As the south of France is such a popular destination for both holidaymakers and business travellers, it is not surprising that Nice Airport is one of the busiest in the country, used by a large number of domestic and international airlines.

There are good car parking facilities at Nice Airport, with sufficient spaces available for short-term parking, long-term parking and disabled passenger parking.

There are two passenger terminals at Nice Airport, which between them provide passengers with excellent facilities including banks, ATMs and bureau de change facilities as well as excellent restaurants, cafes and bars.

For the shopper, both terminals provide gift shops, newsagents and duty-free shopping.

There is a first-rate business centre at Nice Airport for the travelling business person. The facilities are second to none with computers, Wi-Fi, fax and photocopying as well as a team of professionals on hand to make sure everything goes smoothly if you are having a meeting.

Also, in response to a wish expressed by many passengers, Nice Côte d'Azur Airport has opened a place for prayer, devoted to the three monotheistic religions. This area also offers a quiet area for reflection, with three rooms and a reception area.

  • Unfortunately we did not get an automatic vehicle as ordered, which, considering we ordered the car 5 months prior to arrival in Nice, was quite disappointing. However, all staff were, at all times, polite & courteous. Car was vey good. #

  • Service was good and easy pick up/drop off. Was given a diesel car whcih i wasnt so keen on as the drive (in an automatic) wasnt as smooth, was jerky like a geared car. But the car aas very comfortable. Found that the integrated GPS wasnt that gear, didnt give enough warning with the directions and the volume of the voice was quiet even on highest setting #

  • I've been hiring holiday cars for beach holidays all round europe for 20 years and have never had a sneaky extra charge for 'special cleaning' before. Until I used SIXT for the first and last time unfortunately. Apparently SIXT want me to hire a family car for a beach holiday with the kids and return it to them in the same condition I got it in (as the guy has just told me on the phone) Really? Shall I hire a hoover at the airport and get the kids a sponge to use up the last of the evian. if there are serious stains to the upholstery fine, but a bit of sand in the footwells...! I will avoid SIXT at NICE Airport in future. #

  • I tried to hire a car from CarDelMar - 4 days later I got an email saying they couldn't fulfil the order, and other company prices had gone up, so they cost me money. The car remained available on the website even though they knew they couldn't fill the order. #

  • I think I was lucky to get a higher class car, as there was no any other at that moment. Introduction was easy and understandable, the closing was also smooth as the person accepting the car was at parking place and we don't need to go anywhere for his search. Car was new, not breaking and not vreating any confusion for me as a driver. #

  • Price was cheaper than if I'd booked the car directly with the provider (Europcar). Handed over the voucher with no probs. Nothing more to say. Dead simple. Definitely recommended! #
