Lyon Airport - full name Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport - is 24 kilometres from Lyon and is located on the A432. Lyon Airport can be accessed from the A42 towards Geneva and the A43 towards Chambéry. There are also some very good public transport alternatives including Lyon Airport's own TGV station with trains serving many French destinations, including Paris Gare de Lyon, Marseille and Montpellier. There are also several bus services available, connecting Lyon Airport to the main cities of Rhône-Alpes. The desk for this service is situated in the central area.
Facilities at Lyon Airport include a Bureau de Change and a Post Office, both in the central building. ATMs are situated throughout the airport too, and there is an automatic currency exchange machine in terminal 1. For food and drink you will find bars in both terminals at Lyon Airport plus a restaurant in the central building. Shops include your usual Duty Free as well as a jewellers, clothes shop, mobile phone shop and newsagents. There is also a travel agents and a chemist sited in the central building. A 24-hour medical centre is also located on the ground floor of the central building. Baby changing facilities are available in both terminals.
Lyon Airport is perfect for the travelling business person as their Business Centre offers 11 meeting rooms all equipped with telephones and paperboards. It also offers audiovisual equipment, secretarial services (typing, interpreting, fax, photocopy and printing) and catering facilities.
