Cherbourg Airport ? full name Cherbourg-Maupertus Airport ? is located just off of the D901 Autoroute on the Rue Jean Mermoz turnoff. This is about 11 kilometres from Cherbourg itself.
Cherbourg Airport isn't large, but it does cater to several flying clubs so the amenities at the airport are basic and are aimed towards the tourist or club member rather than travelling business persons.
There is a lovely restaurant called Coucou of the Range and it has a good view of the runway. There is also a newsagents/tobacconists at Cherbourg Airports well as a Radius Bookstore.
