Ferries
The main ports in Portugal are Lisbon and Aveiro. Ferry routes, however, are usually local or to neighbouring Spain, such as the Santander to Lisbon route. Most visitors travelling by sea from further away arrive in Spain before transferring to Portugal by land or air.
